Mike Vallely

Mike Vallely is also known as Mike V. Along with being a professional skateboarder he is also a musician, actor, tv personel, professional wrestler, FHL hockey player, and a stuntman. He started his life of skateboarding around the age of 14. He got onto the front of Thatsher Magazine in August 1986 nad became pro in May of 1987. In 1988 he joined Powel Peralta team. After skating for them for awhile he quit to join World Industries only to leave again. While skating for World Industries he is credited for helping design the current standard board we still use today with both the nose and tail rounded off with a lip.

Mike V joined a band called Resistance only to play one show and then get kicked out for spending too much time Skateboarding. Mike is also featured in a lot of the Tony Hawk games and Tony Hawk's: Underground is even based on his very own Skateboarding career. He currently is living in Long Beach, California and I saw him last time i was there.
